Equidra or Myfxbook: which tool to track your MetaTrader 5 accounts?
Information checked on 16 October 2026
Myfxbook is the long-standing reference for tracking trading accounts. Equidra is a newer tool focused on MetaTrader 5. This article compares them for the same need: tracking one or more MetaTrader 5 accounts, knowing their real drawdown and being warned when a threshold is crossed.
The information about Myfxbook comes from its official help pages, read on 16 October 2026 and listed at the end of this article. Offers change: check them before choosing.
What Myfxbook does very well
- Verified public profiles. An account can be made public after full verification (track record and trading privileges). It is a recognised standard for showing performance to others.
- Prop Shield. Myfxbook tracks prop firm rules: trading days, daily loss, static or trailing maximum loss, profit target and consistency, with warning and critical thresholds. Live tracking requires Live Update.
- Free connections. Auto Update (server-side update every 2 to 4 hours depending on load) and EA Publisher (every 5 minutes, on Windows, while the platform is open) are free.
- A broad ecosystem. Backtest, Strategy AI, economic calendar, a discussion page for each account.
If your main need is to show verified performance publicly, or to track a prop firm's rules live, Myfxbook covers it directly.
What Equidra does differently
- A rebuilt drawdown. Equidra replays the account's full history with market prices to find the equity low reached while positions were open, including before the robot was installed. Myfxbook keeps the highest of three measures (end of day, intraday at each update, growth): its intraday accuracy therefore depends on how often the chosen connection updates.
- A grouped portfolio. Your accounts, live and demo, across several brokers, can be grouped to see the equity, drawdown and exposure of the whole set.
- Alerts by email or Discord on drawdown, equity or floating loss.
- No broker password. A robot installed in your MetaTrader 5 terminal sends the history; it places no orders and changes no settings.

How to choose
- You want a verified public profile or live tracking of a prop firm's rules: Myfxbook fits.
- You want the real drawdown of each account, a grouped portfolio and alerts, across several MetaTrader 5 accounts: Equidra is built for that.
- Nothing stops you from using both.
Equidra is an analysis tool, not investment advice. Plans and their limits are detailed on the Pricing page.
